Bramble Hill Bees and Other Pollinators

Yesterday the Explorers visited Hans at Bramble Hill Farm, as the Young Naturalists did on Tuesdays. Hans demonstrated the beekeeper suit and explained about the things he does to keep bees healthy on the farm. Campers threw their "flower bombs" all over the farm. These balls of mud and clay were packed with seeds of flowers bees love. Hopefully they will grow and attract bees!

Campers visited the trumpet vine growing on the side of the blue barn in hopes of seeing hummingbirds, who love the plant.
